We strive to use sustainable and environmentally friendly materials in all our products. Our goal is to reduce the use of harmful chemicals and ensure that our products are safe for both consumers and the environment. We only use water-based paint without harmful solvents.

We aim to reduce waste and promote reuse and recycling of materials. Our goal is to minimize our carbon footprint by using environmentally friendly alternatives as much as possible and reducing energy consumption.

All our production is located in Gothenburg, and we do not ship finished products from production facilities elsewhere. We are committed to continually improving our production processes to reduce environmental impact. This includes minimizing greenhouse gas emissions, responsibly managing waste through sorting various types of waste, and working to eliminate emissions of pollutants into air and water. We ensure that our suppliers adhere to strict environmental standards and collaborate with them to improve environmental performance across the supply chain.

4. Transport and Logistics

We actively work to reduce the environmental impact of our transport by optimizing logistics and choosing environmentally friendly transport options. This includes reducing transport distances, using fuel-efficient vehicles, and working with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. We choose high-quality suppliers as close to our production as possible. For example, all our paint and oil are delivered by a supplier just a few hundred meters from our production facilities.

5. Product Lifecycle

We design our products to have a long lifespan and encourage our customers to repair and reuse furniture rather than buying new. Bespoke GBG AB enables a significantly longer lifespan for a piece of furniture by replacing doors and cover panels instead of replacing the entire piece. At the end of its lifecycle, we encourage and believe that our customers recycle and reuse old furniture to reduce waste and promote a circular economy.

6. Awareness and Engagement

We educate and engage our employees in environmental issues and work to promote a sustainable corporate culture. We inform our customers about the environmental benefits of our products and how they can contribute to a sustainable lifestyle.
